Holding and Unfolding (sound installations)
Thursday July 9 and Friday July 10, 2026 at 7 PM
For two consequent evenings Tonbo and Moriaariava will play live improvisation soundtrack to a hypnotic kaleidoscopic video work of NADA. Combining sound of modular synthesizers and asian traditional acoustic instruments.
NADA is an interdisciplinary art collective of Japanese Kaleidoscope creator and visual artist Orie Ishii and engineer and photographer Ryo Ishio who films and documents delicate beauty of ever-changing geometries of Orie's Kaleidoscopes as well as their observations of water cymatics. Their work explores the threshold between light and form - Mirror systems, minerals, light, gravity, and rotation that create images only for a fleeting moment. The interaction of physical forces holds space for ever unfolding blossoming wonders of the universe.

Amadeo Bonaiuto Quartet ft. Ruth Schepers - CROSSOVER (concert)
Saturday July 18, 2026 at 7 PM
This project began with a question:What is the role of the migrant musician? Is it only about adapting to a new context, or is it also about offering something back to the colleagues who welcome you? After several years of developing music with my quartet in Berlin, this question led to a deeper dialogue with composers from the local scene. From that exchange, Crossover emerged: a project based on the transformation of musical material through intercultural collaboration. In this concert, the quartet is joined by saxophonist and composer Ruth Schepers, an active figure in Berlin’s jazz and free improvisation scene. Her music becomes the starting point for a process of reinterpretation through Latin American folk rhythms such as Argentine zamba, chacarera, carnavalito and tango. These versions do not aim for a fixed fusion, but rather open a space where music can change through contact between different cultural backgrounds, practices and perspectives. The project includes arrangements, shared works and moments of improvisation, where the result is not fully defined in advance. The concert is understood as a live process, where listening and dialogue are central.Crossover is not a style, but a way of working: approaching music as a space of exchange, where the migrant experience becomes a creative tool and a way of giving something back to the musical community that receives it.

Scales of Breathing – Score for Interspecies Collaboration
by and with Youngsook Choi, Sophie Seita and Rike Scheffler
Sunday July 19, 2026 at 7 PM
Can we reset our bodies as anchor points for sensorial reciprocity with other beings? When and where do we enter the common ground? How do we become porous? Youngsook Choi, Sophie Seita and Rike Scheffler will stage the participatory performance Scales of Breathing: Score for Interspecies Collaboration, experimenting with breathing gestures that imagine and rehearse forms of communication and connection with more-than-human others. Inspired by the way earthworms collaborate with microbial species to turn soil into rich compost and to enact a strategic diapause (suspended engagement) when their environment is not nourishing enough, we invite audiences into a shared boundary-crossing space for practising collective body-ing, playful contamination, and communal refusal. Scales of Breathing was first commissioned and presented by the Seoul Museum of Art in November 2025, in collaboration with Jaelee Kim, and curated by Sungmin Lim. In July 2026, the full iteration will be performed by the artists across London and Berlin, at Live Art Development Agency (LADA) on 15 July and at Hošek Contemporary on 19 July, with continuing support from Goethe-Institut and Goldsmiths, University of London.

Instruments of Care (sound gathering/workshop)
Thursday July 30, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Instruments of Care is a living ecosystem for artistic research and collective practices centered on listening as a form of care. Through sound, publishing, participatory gatherings, and artistic experimentation, it cultivates spaces where attention becomes a creative practice.
Atelier of Listening is one of these instruments: an invitation to experience music through deep listening and to respond with drawing, writing, movement, or quiet reflection. Rather than consuming sound, we gather to listen, create, and become part of a growing living library of practices of care.
In this edition Nina Pixel together with Moriaariavas experiental project are preparing sonic and tactile environment for gentle inner world explorations.

Improvised Piano Score for The Immigrant (1917) & Windy Days
Sunday August 2, 2026 at 7:30 PM
Improvised Piano Score for The Immigrant (1917) by Omer Gottesfeld
Windy Days
concept and direction: Cecilia Xuetong Feng
movement research: Alexz Grieco
performance: Alexz Grieco, Chelsea Reichert, Luca Schüssler
sound composition and live music: Marta-Liisa Talvet
costume design: Ama Tomberli
The inspiration for Windy Days begins in the obscure moments when oppression is revealed within the storms of history, like a breath of wind dissolving what blocks our view and revealing unvoiced or unseen individual stories. The work commemorates those who disappeared, invoking historical dances of emancipation and remembrance such as Cueca Sola on Plaza de Mayo.
Windy Days unfolds in seven fragments, drawing on folk elements, oscillating between chaos and order, each initiated with a game rule. Like passing days, these fragments contain the moments when a social structure emerges and then fails, as is inevitable with time. Does chaos emancipate us from order, or vice versa?
At Hošek Contemporary, a boat floating on the Spree, the river gives tangible presence to the wind and the space we share, as disembodied voices from far away and long before are brought forth by the performers in an act of remembering.
After all, we are all human in the hurricane.
